Badass Bridge of the Day: The Moses Bridge, as its name suggests, is pedestrian bridge that creates the illusion of walking through water — in this case, the West-Brabant waterline near Fort de Roovere in the Netherlands.
Designed by RO & AD Architects, the bridge was built using Accoya wood, a type of modified wood that offers the enhanced durability necessary to sustain a sunken bridge.

ACL 09 has been announced and it’s kind of… unimpressive. That being said there are some bright spots in it!
The Good:
Kings Of Leon, Thievery Cooperation, John Legend, Ghostland Observatory, Sonic Youth, Lilly Allen, Artic Monkey, The Decemberists, Andrew Bird, Girl Talk, Phoenix, Bon Iver, !!!, Avett Brothers, The Airborne Toxic Event, Grizzly Bear, Passion Pit, The Walkmen, Blitzen Trapper, The Virgins, Here We Go Magic, Dr. Dog, The Ravonettes, The Felice Brothers, David Garza, John Vanderslice and The Dodos.
The rest of it can kind of suck it… KOL is the only headliner I give to shakes about. The new dates should be much improved though! Won’t be so miserable hot and from what I hear Zilker Park will NOT be a dust bowl this year.
I am still going, just a little less excited!
